Practicing the Present Participle: my “ing” list
The following list explains why I had no time this past week to post anything more. The items are listed chronologically. The red ones are those activities that recur weekly.
Visiting ailing friends.
Tutoring three students (four hours + commute)
Recovering from a cold and a stye in the right eye
Playing rummikub four afternoons
Rehearsing with the RLC choirs
Dealing with the hacking of my email account, beginning on Wednesday
Submitting a devotional to Cascade Christian Writers’ Contest

Sorry you had such a bad week. My day did not go well. I learned the passing of a former classmate first thing that was very shocking. I did enjoy a visit from my son and grandson. I ended up going to church on TV.
Last week wasn’t so “bad,” but it took time to tend to everything. So, I had no time to write. Sad news about your former classmate; it made the visit from your son and grandson even more enjoyable. See you tomorrow night–Ash Wednesday.
