Hallelujah!

After the cold, gray, dreary months of winter, folks often declare that spring–with its increasing warmth, bursting color, and new growth—is their favorite season.

It all heralds the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, who of His own power overcame the stranglehold of death and returned to life–speaking, eating, drinking, teaching.

As we enter Easter weekend, consider the unbelievable POWER that His resurrection demanded. He still has that power, and He wants to give it to us through the ministry of His Holy Spirit.

The older I grow, the more I witness dying and death. The more I hear, “How could a loving God allow this?”  the more I am thankful for the amazing truth of resurrection.

I cling with greater understanding to Philippians 3:10. Paul prayed, That I may know Him and the POWER of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings….”

These words give me strength and comfort when encountering the pains of disease, decline, debilitation, poverty, vengeful wars and killings, and the loss of loved ones! He suffered all of this and more, but His power went beyond it and into new life!

Because He lives, so can we. By faith and belief, He and His power are available to you!

Hallelujah!!

Be blessed by the gorgeous singing of “Hallelujah” at this site:

  1. I don’t believe I have ever heard a bad rendition of that song and this one like all the others brought me chills and a brilliant air show to boot! Thankyou for sharing Aunt Linda. Nancy

    1. Thank you, Nancy, for being a loyal reader. The perspective of the air show is far better in the sky than on the ground. Blessed Easter to you.

  2. Yes, His mighty POWER is living within us and available to all!
Our Pure, Perfect, Holy, Righteous, Omnipotent, Almighty God gives marvelous rest to our souls because by His gift of faith we can freely choose Him as Our personal Savior and Lord and are then destined for heaven because He willing chose to take our place, die for our sins and rise as an acceptable blood sacrifice to life everlasting!!! What a wondrous LORD ~ what a beautiful Easter!
